  • Wacom Graphire 4
  • Wacom Intuos 3 (this tablet might not work with kernel 2.6.19 to 2.6.21)

tablet pc

  • Lenovo Thinkpad X61t

List of non-working hardware

Tablets

  • Aiptek 12000U 12 x 9 A4 Graphics (there is a linux driver, but it's complicated to install and only work in mouse mode)

troubleshooting

  • to be detected by Krita, the pointers of the tablet must be named "stylus" and "eraser"
  • for serial tablets, and some tablet pc, and some distribution, it might be neceserary to run
setserial /dev/ttyS0 port 0x0200 irq 5 autoconfig

before starting X11, for instance by adding it to /etc/init.d/boot.local .
