Feature proposals can have different states. The following table lists and explains them. The image shows the transitions between them.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| draft | The feature proposal is being written and not ready for review yet. |
| needs review | The feature proposal is finished and can be reviewed. |
| reviewed | The feature proposal is reviewed and waiting for someone to implement it. |
| in progress | Someone is implementing the feature proposal. |
| finished | The feature proposal has been implemented. |
| discarded | The feature proposal has been reviewed but it was decided to not implement it. |
