Feature proposals can have different states. The following table lists and explains them. The image shows the transitions between them.

State	Meaning
draft	The feature proposal is being written and not ready for review yet.
needs review	The feature proposal is finished and can be reviewed.
reviewed	The feature proposal is reviewed and waiting for someone to implement it.
in progress	Someone is implementing the feature proposal.
finished	The feature proposal has been implemented.
discarded	The feature proposal has been reviewed but it was decided to not implement it.
