I am Irdi, an Open Source and Digital Rights hacktivist based in Tirana, Albania.

My journey in the Open Source universe started 3 years ago at the local Hackerspace and since then I have been contributing to multiple open source projects. Some of my favorites projects are Debian, Nextcloud, OpenStreetMap, Wikipedia, WordPress, etc.

When I first started my journey, I was working as a social worker and my strongest point was community organizing, so I took upon myself organizing activities about the different communities that used the Hackerspace.

After some time I switched from Windows to Linux, and now I freelance as a Linux sysadmin, providing people a way out of big corps like Google & co through Nextcloud.

Even though I changed my profession, I still continue organizing activities and meetups for OpenStreetMap Albania, Wikimedia Community User Group Albania, WordPress Albania and more.
