As a KDE translator, you help people who are learning English use a computer by translating KDE Software User Interfaces and KDE Documentation in their native language.

Translation tasks

The KDE Translation Team handles the following tasks:

  • Translate fragments of text from KDE’s software and documentation
  • Feed the translated content back into the software

  2. Visit the KDE Localization Home Page and choose your language.
  3. Contact the specific team for your language and download the translation files.
  4. Check the scoreboard to see the progress of current translation teams.

How to contribute to the translation team

KDE Bugtracker

Steps:

  1. Make a KDE Bugtracker account
  2. Find some translation bugs using KDE Bugtracker’s advanced search. Select the language you’d like to translate. Or navigate to translation bugs.
  3. Find a confirmed translation bug.
  4. Choose a translation task.
  5. Fix a translation bug.

  2. Log in to KDE Phabricator
  3. Navigate to the Krita: Website and Translations Project
  4. Tackle some translation tasks.
