Why is only 'taglib' called out for being crash-proofed here ? Surely equally important is "shall not loose user-generated meta data such as ratings", "shall not remove meta data when a network resource hosting a file is not available", "shall recover from back end data base crashes or update failures" ? Both the former two have been issues with Amarok 2, and there's at least one open-being-worked-on Amarok 2 issue where the underlying table schemas are totally broken, in part because somewhere between Amarok 1.x and 2.6.0 the process stopped working, and there's no recovery or checking process.
