KDE Linux/Create and use virtual machines
Appearance
Probably the easiest way to use virtual machines in KDE Linux is with the Virtual Machine Manager app. Install it and its required QEMU extension by running the following command in a terminal window:
flatpak install org.virt_manager.virt-manager org.virt_manager.virt_manager.Extension.Qemu
Afterwards, launch the "Virtual Machine Manager" app, click the "File" menu, and select "Add Connection…".
Then click the dropdown menu button next to where it says "Hypervisor:", select "QEMU/KVM user session", and then click "OK".
Now Virtual Machine Manager is ready to create new virtual machines! To create one, Click "File" and then "New Virtual Machine", or else the toolbar button that looks like a screen with the play icon in it.
