Akademy/Handbook/Day trip

Goal

The day trip is supposed to be a social activity to get conference attendees to socialize, take a break from the "work" part of the conference and to see more of the area where Akademy is hosted

Needs

• activity within a reasonable travel time from the conference venue
• something with a local touch like a local cultural site
• enough time for people to go at their own pace
• the program should not be too packed

Timing

The day trip is usually happening during the workshop days of the conference.
