User Survey
- We don't know how many users we have and what parts/features they are using.
- What made people abandon PIM apps, and what do they use now?
- All PIM apps have KUserFeedback integrated, evaluate what data we get from that.
- There's the "What's new" banner that could be used to point people to a survey as well.
- Promo can help to reach the former users for a survey.
Dropping baggage
- Unused features from old contract work?
- Kolab resource - stuck on discussion how to do the migration.
- Anything that would reduce access to data should have some form of migration or at least prior warning with instructions. Niche functionality OTOH doesn't need that.
- Better review on what we keep adding as new features, especially also regarding things like the AI integration.
KMime Frameworkification
- Needs preliminary API review, and agreement to actually move to KF.
- Needs conversion to qdoc, which is now actually allowed.
- Albert and Nico to do the review.
Akonadi agend/resource configuration move to QML
- GSoC project, partially merged so far.
- Challenge: KIO SSL error handling UI.
- Document porting for the sprint.
