openSUSE notes

2015-08-15 “no space left on device” / btrfs and openSUSE

openSUSE 13.2

I have mapped /tmp, /usr/src and /usr/tmp to a btrfs partition and at some day while updating the system with zypper, I got "no space left on device" but `df` and `kdiskfree` is showing that there is enough space left.

Reason see http://www.nrtm.org/index.php/2012/03/13/the-joys-of-btrfs-and-opensuse-or-no-space-left-on-device/comment-page-1/

Despite the description in the article snapper is not configured on my system. I deleted some old kernel source folders and now it is working again. So the problem is not fully solved.
