Sunday, 10th Marble Maps Alpha: Vector Tiles & Navigation Mode A new alpha version of Marble Maps is uploaded to the Google Play Store and is available to alpha testers. The group of alpha testers is not public, ask a Marble developer for access if you are interested in testing this. This release contains a polished (but not yet fully complete) navigation mode, aiming to collect real-world usage feedback. This release also contains the current state of development for vector tiles, aiming to gather feedback of performance on different devices and to identify potential issues to fix in further development. Sunday, 24th Marble Maps Beta: Navigation Mode After polishing navigation mode with the feedback gathered from the alpha version, a new public beta version of Marble Maps is available from the Google Play Store. This version is shipped with bitmap tiles (openstreetmap map theme) instead of vector tiles (Vector OSM map theme). Get The Beta Version.
