Panel Rotation Test

Description

Plasma makes a point of not dictating the users wants and needs for him or her. Some users want their panel to be placed vertically and some may prefer a horizontal panel. This test will check whether the widgets behave as expected no matter what placement is chosen for the panel.

Preparation Steps

  1. Boot any of the Test Day ISOs and log into Plasma
  2. Add default panel if it is not there already

Test Steps

  1. Click on hamburger icon in the panel
  2. From the panel controller select "Screen Edge" and move panel to different screen edges

Test Checklist

  1. Are icons of task manager aligned properly?
  2. K-menu dialog is aligned and opened properly?
  3. Is text in digital clock readable?
  4. Are icons in system tray aligned properly?
