'''What is the KDE Network?'''
The KDE Network will be a group of KDE representatives in their respective cities/countries. They promote KDE and it’s work in their local community. Additionally, they are responsible for helping to grow the community, and to act as a liaison between their local community and KDE.
Members of the KDE Network Group are Community Members who have agreed to help promote KDE. They use their knowledge of KDE and their public speaking skills or social networking skills or people skills to help promote KDE.
'''Goal'''
Derived from our Promo goals. We want to increase our community and outreach in more countries, including:
Brand awareness about KDE.
* Increase and engage new contributors.
* Increase the number of end-users.
'''What do they do?'''
* Participate at local events on behalf of KDE.
* Request marketing material, swag, budget for events.
* Promote KDE, FLOSS, open source projects and cross-community interaction.
* Demonstrate KDE’s products.
* Community outreach and act as a liaison for contributors interested to become part of KDE.
* Promote KDE at local user groups and universities with talks, presentations etc.

* Report on the activities related to FLOSS in their region.
'''Where are we located?'''
The KDE Network will take place around the world.
'''The KDE Network Advisory Committee'''
Advisory Committee will be supporting the KDE Network group. It will be a group of 5-10 people. Their mission is to provide the governance and support structure necessary to assist and enable the KDE Network group members worldwide. They will oversee the groups, check the accountability and support them in all possible ways. Advisory Committee members will be elected annually from around the globe.
Their duties and functions will be:
* Organize the general structure of the program.
* Distribute resources globally.
* Support in global initiatives.
* Coordinate membership management.
* Promotes cohesion between the KDE Network group members and Board of Directors.

* Resolve any disputes.
Currently, the members of the Advisory Committee are The Advisory Committee Paul Brown, Carl Schwan, Ivana Isadora, Niccolo Venerandi, Kenny Coyle, Julian Steinmann, Kai Uwe, Bhavisha Dhruve and Tomaz Canabrava.
'''How to join the KDE Network?'''
A proper form/interview will be made to hire members of the working group as they should be fully committed towards the program. The Advisory Committee will decide the hiring of members based on the following criteria:
* Each KDE Network group will have 5-10 members.
* Members are ready to commit for the next 6 months to one year.
* They can dedicate 2-3 hours per week.
* Members should be friendly and approachable.
* They can guide new members to where they can contribute.
* They should be eager and happy to work with KDE i.e. time commitment.
* They understand the culture, the needs, and the best ways to communicate about KDE in their region.
* What attracted them to become a member?
* How are they currently contributing to KDE?
* How many events/talks they have attended related to KDE or FLOSS?
* What would they like to do as a member?
* They have at least one year of experience in the KDE community or as a contributor.
* They have experience in organizing and coordinating events.
'''Communications'''
A separate page on KDE’s website will be dedicated to the KDE Network with up-to-date contact information, Telegram/IRC group links, mailing list, and Discourse page (if possible so that volunteers can communicate with each other). A list of all the members will be available on the website so that people can get in touch with them easily.
Monthly meetings/meetups/webinars will be conducted to discuss the future of the group. Meeting minutes of the event will be shared on the website and will be available to the public.
