KDE Connector's Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. This privacy policy describes what personal information we collect and how we use it.

Information Collection

The "KDE Connector" is used in KDE's PIM framework Akonadi to fetch and temporarily cache your Facebook data. That includes posts from your stream, list of your friends with their contact information, list of your notes, list of your calendar events and your notifications. All these informations are just cached locally for purposes of displaying them in various parts of PIM suite - like your friends list in KDE's Address Book.

We don't store any of your login information except your name and Facebook username, purely for displaying purposes.

All this cached data never ever leaves your computer and you can get rid of them simply by removing the Facebook Akonadi resource from your system - this will delete all cached data and nothing will be left in your computer.
