Completing Yaml Files Discussion

We currently store only the tier and non discoverable dependencies information. After discussion, we decided to move to the following situation:

  • Maintainer: identity account
  • Short description: free text
  • Non discoverable dependencies for the graph generation
  • Tier: 1, 2, 3 or 4
  • Type: functional, integration, solution
  • Platforms: All Qt, Win, Mac, Linux + platform notes as free text
  • Porting aid: boolean
  • Deprecated: boolean
  • Release: boolean

Release Cycle

  • 1 month release cycle
  • 2 weeks docbook/message freeze
  • no branching only tags
  • while preparing releases, tagging rcs then retagging the last one as final
