Hi, my local pub in cambridge offers its patrons free internet access via 3 linux computers. It would be interesting to see if it were possible to create a Plasma Widget/Application that would display the current playing song on the pub jukebox. But not only this the ability to see whats in the playlist and to search and add to the play list remotely.

Server Multi-client setup for Pubs

Hi, my local pub in cambridge offers its patrons free internet access via 3 linux computers. It would be interesting to see if it were possible to create a Plasma Widget/Application that would display the current playing song on the pub jukebox. But not only this the ability to see whats in the playlist and to search and add to the play list remotely.

The idea being that people could interact with the jukebox without having to walk over to it.

This in connection with Pinheiro's new minamalist kde theme would make for an attractive desktop experience.
