Helix

  • Just install the amarok-helix RPM shipped with SUSE 10.0
  • In SUSE 10.0 the Helix engine can be found in /usr/lib/RealPlayer10/ directory (codecs, common, and plugins subdirectories)

xine

  • Download and install MAD
  • Download and install the MAD extension for xine

aRts

GStreamer

  • Download and install MAD
  • Download and install the MAD extension for GStreamer

Musicbrainz

  • Download and install MAD
  • Download and install the MAD extension for LibTunePimp
