File Formats
This page contains references to descriptions of file formats that are relevant to the project.
- Janome Embroidery Format, JEF the basic format for all Janome machines.
- Husqvarna Viking HUS format seems to be the earliest file format for machines from Husqvarna Viking. It is readable by all Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff machines.
- Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff VP3, Singer 3 format is used on later machines, capable of using large hoops.
- Tajima Ternary DST popular paper tape based format without colour information.
