Hello wiki surfer,

this is a brief description of what I do in the KDE Community Wiki.

Since Sept 2013 I finally switched my home computer from Windows 7 to Linux (openSUSE 13.1). By the end of the year 2013, I get involved in developing KDE software. In general, I started programming in 1999 and mostly on the Windows platform.

I joined the wiki Nov 2014 and my first edit was:

  • Frameworks/Building
    • add section about using pre-built Qt 5 instead of compiling own's own
    • add build dependencies needed for openSUSE 13.1
    • some logical reordering of sections
    • add subsection of how to analyse and fix build errors
